Mangles Bay Fishing Club
Welcome to Mangles Bay Fishing Club.
We are situated on Point Peron Road overlooking Cockburn Sound and consider this to be our little piece of heaven. To sit out on the back veranda and watch the changing colours at sunset, to watch the king tides, the ultra-low low tides, the continually changing scenery - it's a wonderful pastime, and one many of our members enjoy.
Our members come from a variety of backgrounds but all share a love of fishing and boating.
Our members are our most valuable resource and they man every facet of the club. We'd like to remind members and visitors that they deserve our gratitude for their voluntary contribution.
We are VERY serious when it comes to boat safety. We recommend that all our members register with Rockingham Sea Rescue and log on with them each time they venture out of Cockburn Sound.
Membership nomination forms can be obtained from the Secretary (subject to availability).
Our office hours are from 9am to noon on Saturdays & Sundays.
This club is a not-for-profit, community and sporting oriented organisation run entirely by volunteers. All members are expected to participate in club activities during the year which include fishing competitions and social functions. Boat storage is available to members only.
The Fee Structure is as follows:
Annual Membership Fees: $165.00
Nomination Fee: $200.00 payable when/if nomination is accepted.
Gate Passes : $25.00 (one-off payment)
Boat Storage (Hard-Stand Fees): Price on application
Club Support Payment: $100.00 p.a. (This is a voucher redemption system which is mandatory for all members.)
